Church Media Team hosts First Presbyterian Church Senior Luncheon

The Media Team of the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon hosted the first annual Senior Luncheon on Wednesday, October 12, at the Church premises located at 199 North Columbus Avenue. The Media Team, led by Pastor Betty J. Griffin, set out to get to know the seniors a little better and to honor them for their contributions and hard work over the years.
In an atmosphere with soft, instrumental, steel drum music, the seniors settled in and said their hellos, as they also familiarized themselves with others whose names they did not know. Present in the group were also friends who had faithfully attended the church for years and felt just like members of the church family. It was difficult to distinguish one from the next because they had all served in one capacity or another
